The word this week on Illustration Friday, as the title says is intricate. i named this The Monkey King after one of the faces in it. i used to doodle like this a lot in the past. i forgot how much fun i had doing these pages.

I thought you were messing with our heads at first but when you enlarge it, I can see lots of faces, monkey top left and down a bit - right??? Fun technique.
Thanks to both of you. It took me a bit to figure out what you said Cioara, mulţumesc. Duncan, the face i think you see is the bull (he has horns) i've added a 2nd image with the Monkey King highlighted. Thanks again.
Very cool. I stared at it a log time. I saw so much stuff in there...its better than the ink blot test! Nice work!
What a cool doodle! I can spend a lot of time doodling too, especially in boring meetings. This is hypnotic.
